Make something extraordinary with the ingredients you’ve been given.

Life doesn’t hand us a recipe. It hands us ingredients. Some beautiful, some difficult, and some we never would have chosen.

The Meatball Mindset is Dr. Lisa Patierne’s practical approach to helping people who live and lead under pressure navigate those ingredients with greater awareness, intention, and hope.

roll with life. lead with heart. thrive under pressure.

roll with life. lead with heart. thrive under pressure.

roll with life. lead with heart. thrive under pressure.

You carry a lot.

When people depend on you, it’s easy to spend so much time caring, serving, solving, and leading that you lose sight of yourself.

You may not be able to control every challenge, change, or pressure that comes your way. But you can choose how you respond—and what you create next.

A different way forward.

The Meatball Mindset helps you:

01

See
Differently

Recognize the beliefs, patterns, and pressures shaping how you see yourself and the world around you.

02

Respond Intentionally

Pause before reacting, take ownership of what you can control, and choose responses that align with who you want to be.

03

Create Something Extraordinary

Use the strengths, experiences, and possibilities already within you to build a life that feels meaningful, resilient, and fully your own.

Born at 5:00 a.m. in Lisa’s kitchen.

As a mother, educator, and leader, Lisa often found herself making meatballs before the rest of the world woke up.

Her son was born medically complex and developed severe food allergies, which meant nearly everything he ate had to be made from scratch. Every ingredient mattered.

Standing in that kitchen, Lisa realized that life works much the same way: we don’t all receive the same ingredients, and we don’t always receive the ones we would have chosen.

But our future is not determined by those ingredients alone. It is shaped by what we decide to create with them.

That realization became The Meatball Mindset.

This is for the people everyone else depends on.

Leaders. First responders. Educators. Healthcare professionals. Social service workers. Caregivers. Parents.

The people who protect, serve, teach, care, and lead—often while quietly carrying pressures of their own.

You don’t need to prove your worth by doing more, achieving more, or rolling one more meatball.

You are already enough.

You are already enough.

Pull up a chair.

You don’t have to wait for better ingredients to begin creating something meaningful. See what’s already there. Find the gold. Choose your response. Take the next step.

Make the best meatball possible with the ingredients you’ve been given.
